You will not only see me going door to door during campaign season. You will see me making intentional visits while in office. Dr. Kermit Staggers, one of my mentors over fifteen years ago, showed the power of going to the people to hear their concerns and perspective. In order to provide collaborative leadership that carries the best ideas forward, we need to understand different perspectives and ideas. That begins with listening to one another. I will listen to your perspective.

You will know where I stand and how I am currently thinking about different issues. You will not only hear from me during campaign season, but on an on-going basis, so that you can be aware of what your government officials are working on. Most campaign website become dormant the moment the election is over. I will provide regular updates on this website, social media and through the mail even after the election.

In order to solve complicated challenges we need the best ideas to move forward. It does not have to be my idea, nor do I have to agree with everything a person proposes to be supportive of one of their ideas. I will work with all councilors, no matter how often we agree, and will focus on ideas rather than personality.
